Collectively we wanted to push the boundaries from the usual browns and beige, which are more widely liked. All the elements were planned and selected around the three main shades of red, green and blue. We planned the house in such a way that the solid colours never become overbearing. The detailing on the furniture, décor pieces along with the curtains are done in dull matt gold. The gold adds hint of glamour to the bold drama created by the other elements. We made all the windows full length. This helped in getting the light in, and made the apartment more airy. The complete set of ceiling lights are automated and anti-glare thus always giving the desired pre-set illumination.
The living room is characterized with dark grey marble floors and light oak wood for wall panelling and furniture. The master bedroom is the largest with a walk in wardrobe and adjoining ensuite washroom. Generous amount of wine red colour adorns the walls and some furniture items. The grandparent’s room has deeper walnut wood tones, teamed with white walls. The room exudes a simple elegant charm. The Kids bedroom, we did not want to do anything too kiddy. The black dog and black deer light fittings are too cute to ignore. The kitchen too has colour is a stark bold manner, with contrasting black and white pattern tiles in the drying area. The boldness of the colours teamed with the light woods and rich grey floor makes this house a timeless destination.
